Areas of practice:

Counselling of clients in the fields of Pharmacy / Medicine, Chemistry, Food processing, Chemical engineering. Drafting and prosecution of patent applications, supplementary protection certificates, oppositions, appeals. Further, drafting of agreements and opinions with a focus on patent law.

Career & experience:

Study of Chemistry at the RWTH Aachen, PhD thesis at the Institute of Chemical Engineering, followed by a position as Project Leader in Pharmaceutical Development.
Since 2001 employed as Patent attorney in pharmaceutical / chemical industry. European Patent attorney since 2004. Employed with E. Blum & Co. AG since 2006.
